What are the holidays for a teacher in China?

Winter holidays (varies due to Chinese lunar calendar each year) begin from the end of January through to the late February.

May Day celebrations, is a national holiday and is a 3-day holiday, including weekends.

Then we have summer holidays, which are in July and August each year.

Finally there is National Day holiday which is a 3-day holiday starting October 1. 

These are the standard holidays each year in China, and do not include holidays that are a result of school specific events such as sports days, examination preparation periods etc.
