I have 2 apartments:

 

Apartment A, suitable for a single or a couple. 2 bedrooms, about 65 square meters in total. I use one room and guests can use the other .

 

 

Apartment B, suitable for 3 or more guests, such as a family with kids. 2 bedrooms, about 95 square meters in total. Right now one is used as storage but can be converted into a guest room if needed. Guests can use the other one. That means, guests can live by themselves if they wish.

 

I and my wife born and grow up in Beijing. In my home there are only me and my wife, but she mainly lives on campus and comes home once every week. She teaches English as a second language. And we can go Apt B if you like to stay at Apt A by yourself when she is back from school.

 

Apartment A, more details:

Location

in west of Beijing, Bajiao Subway Station to get off, center of Capital Recreation District (CRD).

 

Transportation:

bus at door step; subway: 25 min walk, about 15 minutes by bus including bus waiting time or 15 minutes by bike.

 

Facilities, all within walking distance:

Banks, including Bank of China

groceries, including Sam's club and local ones; very cost-effective local restaurants.

Gyms with ping pang, bad minton

 

Bajiao Youleyduan (amusement park) subway(3rd from west) is 10-15 minutes by bus if you do not want to walk. . China Radio International is about 15-20 minutes by bike (bike is free of charge to guests).

 

Internet access

(ADSL/24-hr, wireless or wired). An extra notebook for guest, cell phone handset (you will pay your own air time and number picking fee).

 

Copier,scanner & printer. (Free if to print less than 3 pages).

2 bedrooms, 95 square meter in total, furnished & unoccupied

East of Beijing, known as the backyard of Capital Business District (CBD).

Buses at door step, as starting point of the routes.

Tongzhou Bei Yuan Subway Station(6th from east) is about 30 minutes by bus.

 

Facilities: all within walking distance.

Banks, local grocery, markets and convenient stores, restaurants;

 

Internet:

Internet cafE 3 yuan an hour, 10 minutes walk from apartment;

Access from room: dial-up 50hr/month is include for free.or ADSL open upon request at extra charge.

(Guests need to use their own computers or public ones.)

 

Outdoor basket ball courts and table tennis platforms (free of charge).

 

Air-conditioner, electric fans, Internet accesse cell phone handset are available for you to use temporarily, if needed. Tv set, washing-machine, refrigerator, stove, and wardrobe, double bed sofa (good for kids).

1.you can pay as you go, say, if you leave my home from April 8-9 and back on Apr 10, there will be no charge at all between 8-9.

For example, if you stay 4 days, you can spend 1 hour each of the 4 days, or 4 hours on one day and zero hours on the other 3 days. I will teach you more if you need more hours each day, at negotiable rates.

4.You can also make commssions by recruiting Chinese language students for me. I can teach them over the Internet or in my home when thhey visit Beijing or at your/their homes outside and inside China. I may visit your home and teach you Chinese for free as long as you provide free accommodation.
